StopCOVID NI – Open Source
HSC have provided the source code and related documentation for the StopCOVID NI app for review by users and other developers. This is to ensure full transparency and open public collaboration.
The StopCOVID NI code is made available as Free and Open Source Software. It is released under the permissive MIT Licence – this allows you to copy, inspect and distribute the code for your own use.
The code repository has basic documentation. There may be instructions for running the code but we cannot offer any support to 3rd party developers. We have not included any private API keys. While you may be able to build the app, you will not be able to connect to the backend. A self-built app will not be able to broadcast or receive contact tracing information.
